Curriculum Vitae
She was born in Istanbul, Türkiye. After completing her primary and secondary education, she graduated from Erenköy Girls’ High School. In 1992, she graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering.
She developed her interest in painting by attending various art courses. In 2011, she began working in the studio of painter Merih Yıldız, and since 2012, she has continued her studies under the direction of painter Şaziye Erel. She is currently continuing her painting work in Istanbul.
Artistic Vision
While identifying the sea with human moods, she is, in fact, expressing herself. Through the language of art, she sometimes traces serenity, enthusiasm, resentment, fear, and at other times, hope. For her, the sea is an image of the various states and characteristics of human beings.
As the sea manifests itself through her brush, it reveals its power and influence over humankind.
